Africa Female Founders Collective (AFFC) was proud to participate in the 21st Annual AVCA Conference and VC Summit, held from April 28 to May 2, 2025, at the Lagos Continental Hotel in Nigeria. Bringing together over 700 delegates from more than 50 countries, including investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders, to discuss transformative strategies under the theme "Bold Moves: Powering 10x in Africa." 

AFFC's participation, underscored our commitment to accelerating equitable access and economic prosperity for female founders across Africa. Our participation aligned with the conference's focus on innovative approaches to unlock exponential growth and sustainable investment opportunities on the continent.

Key discussions highlighted the importance of gender lens investing, with insights from industry leaders emphasizing the need for intentional capital allocation to women-led businesses.  These  conversations  resonated  with  AFFC's  mission  to  build  a  robust ecosystem that supports the scalability and investment potential of high-growth female - led ventures.  

As we reflect on the insights and connections gained at AVCA 2025, AFFC remains dedicated to fostering collaborations that drive inclusive growth and innovation. We look forward to building our work in empowering female entrepreneurs and shaping a more equitable investment landscape in Africa.
