AFFC Launches Inaugural Masterclass on Structuring for Scale & Investment Readiness

The Africa Female Founders Collective (AFFC) is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural Masterclass Series, a monthly convening designed to equip high-growth female founders across Africa with the tools, insights, and frameworks needed to build scalable, investable ventures.
The first edition, themed “From Vision to VentureScale: Structuring for Scale & Investment Readiness,” will take place virtually on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, bringing together legal, financial, and governance experts alongside seasoned founders to unpack what it truly means to build for growth.
Facilitated by Kayode Omosebi, Director, Investment Banking & Economic Intelligence Organisation: Wealth Bridge Financial Services, this session will cover:
i. Legal structuring: entity setup, shareholding, compliance.
ii. Governance: boards, founder-investor alignment, accountability.
iii. Financial structuring: reporting systems, valuation, captables.
Why This Matters
Despite the rise of female-led startups across Africa, many founders still face structural barriers when preparing for investment. From unclear equity splits to weak governance frameworks, these gaps hinder access to capital and long-term sustainability.
AFFC’s Masterclass Series is designed to close that gap, offering practical, founder-first guidance on how to structure ventures that scale and attract serious investment.
Who It Is For
• Early to growth-stage female founders across Africa.
• Women-led startups and SMEs preparing for capital raising.
• Ecosystem builders and operators supporting female-led ventures.
